Hi guys. I have now got a 12 month ticket on my Landy!! Failed on front brake imbalance of 35%, steering box leak from lower seal, steering drop arm ball joint excessive play, condensation in both head lamps and an advisory of only 55% efficiency on rear brakes.
So...
I bought:
So, after buying all that, I fitted my new front pads and retaining kit, and my Drop Arm ball joint kit. Bled the brakes and greased the rear cylinders. It passed this afternoon with flying colours and only costing £15 in parts!! I will be sending my parts back to paddocks as they couldn't supply all the correct parts.
But at the end of the day, I am Happy Happy Happy!!
So...
I bought:
- New rear shoes (incorrect liners fitted so too big)
- New brake cylinders (unused as mine had one side blocked by corrosion)
- New steering box drop arm AND ball joint kit (only used ball joint kit)
- New front pads and fitting kit
- New prop shaft UJ (sent me one that was too large!! Couldn't fit in yoke)
