Has anybody got a 1.6 8v engine, as i'm after one for my sj.
The head gasket went, so i'm upgrading to a 1.6

i left a com on your other post i am going to a scrap yard in the morning i will ask there i know they have a sj in i could c if i could get the head off that to do yours but you would need more then the engine like the wiring loom gear box ecu props if splines are diff or at least up rate the ujs and the most importent part is the brakes as the old one will only b as good as a carrot

As it needs work, and a lot of work (head gasket, head skimming, timing belt, new carb), I may as well make it a 416. As i'm after a carb'd 8 valve all I need is the engine, and get a sammy gearbox adapter from rhino rays.

oh right ok i went to scrap co to day they have 2 in but one was seazed and the other was picked up with the grab its riped the block in half
