my powerstearing has started to leak on my 90 its not too bad as yet but want to get it sorted. how easy is it to fit a new stering box\ pump as i never done it before any tips \ help will b welcomed ;D

Do you know where it's leaking if it's the pump I have one here but it's unlikely to be that tbh, the boxed leaked on my old disco and it did stop after a few weeks

Just keep an eye on it, most steering boxes weep a bit of oil when they get old. If they need replacing it is not a hard job, just a pita to get everything off and then back on. It can be done in a morning if it needs doing.

i tighted the seals on the pipes and it seems to have slowed willkeep an eye on it thanks ;D

just brought new powerstering pump leaking got worse

just a point, it is worthwhile to replace both the box and the pump at the same time or there will be little bits of metal in the fluid that will tear the new units apart as soon as you start using it. Did you buy a new pupm or box as i have a brand new pump here

yea i need the pump mate how much ya want for it got the four bolt box here got that of a mate for 45 squid an it only had two months use lol bargin
