Hi, my fronty has, this morning, decided it won't run for more than a few seconds. If you start it, it gets to idle and then the revs jump to 3000+rpm. It wont start again straight away and you can just about drive for 100m before it cuts out whilst driving. The revs drop to 0 even when in gear and driving, but the alternator light doesn't come on untill I have either stopped or dipped the clutch. It is getting rather nasty and I need it to get to work. I am thinking maybe something along the lines of the RPM probe? ANy help would be greatly recieved.
Thanks. Craig.

lookin on frontera tech and i found this worth a try idler control valve (icv) Take it off and give it a clean with carb cleaner also clean the holes in the throttle body that mate up with the ICV.
