I used to have an old herrold mine was white with a black soft top loved that old girl loads of fun would of worth a few quid now, I recon your about right on that time scale m8 best of luck

just an update on how it is going engine is now all rebuilt and back in windows and body work all done once i have it back home i will take some more pics just need to do bonnet

One of the pics made me think.
When I wanted to get into classic cars I spent a bit of time thinking about what to get, I think t went, MGB (too common), Spitfire (not powerful enough), GT6 (metal rusts, old Triumphs rust a lot), Scimitar ss1 (ugly), Lotus Elite / Eclat (Ok, but ...) then spotted a Lotus Europa on the cover of one of the mags, decided that was for me. Now having owned / owning 5 Lotus cars I have the Landy, a Scimitar (I spotted a white one in the background of a pic) and an Elf.
The idea is the Landy can tow the others around as they choose to break down. I just need to get it road worthy.
