200Tdi Discovery used by Chris' brother for approx. two years - never let him down.
Has covered 161,500 miles and has had recent cam belt and head gasket, along with head overhaul.
Four half-worn Insa-Turbo Mountains on alloys, and brand new spare on Disco steel.
MOT 'til 8 April 2010.
Can't see any reason for it to fail the next MOT.
Has had o/s sill completely replaced and n/s sill has been patched, rear floor and inner wings have also been welded.
The engine runs well, with no smoke and starts first time - every time.
The gearbox has, once in the past, become jammed in second gear, but this problem cured itself after two or three seconds - so we didn't bother investigating it.
The output shaft on the gearbox is worn - resulting in a fair bit of backlash when changing gear. There is, however, a good spare gearbox included with the vehicle.
Seats are in very good condition for age and seats covers are included. Interior has had minor modifications - where a CB has previously been fitted.
Note: Winch bumper, winch and Dixon Bait tow-ball are not included in the sale - so the vehicle will be fitted with a standard bumper - but all other accessories are included.
As it stands, looking for £800 - if you want 12 months ticket on it - £1100.
