Hi, I am in the process of emigrating to the UK from South Africa. I will be staying in the Norwich area and am keen to meet up with some like minded people. I am currently the Chairman of our 4x4 club in East London and I drive a Discovery V8 ES auto which has had extensive mods done to it, probably an over-kill but she is very capable. When I get to England, which will be early April, I will be looking to buy a Discovery 3 V6 27 Diesel. I am keen to find a club that will be happy for me to join and that I will be happy to be part of. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards, Patrick Hurst.

Hi Jem' Please tell me a little about your club, what you all drive, what kind of 4x4ing do you do, what is the average age group of your members, etc. The club that I currently belong to have members of an average age of arround 35-40 but there are probably some 10 of us 'old farts' who wanna be young again. We do quite a bit of playing where there are some serious challenges but we also do touring/trips to other venues where we camp, etc.

Hmm, i think the majority of people on here either have discovery 1's, or defender 90/110 the club goes greenlaning anything from 1-4 times a month, mostly through thetford but have been little bit more adventurous and visited lincolnshire (i think it was) on a day out laning. umm theres quite a lot of young people that come to the shows etc and laning. we havemt done any challenge sort of things, but i think the possibility of a weekend away may be on the cards for the future.

Hi. I am now in the UK and staying with my son in Great Moulton. I haven't bought a 4x4 yet but would love to meet up with you guys when you next have an outing. Maybe I could get some tips on what vehicle to buy. Regards, Pat.
