I am told my shocks are +4 inchs but I have my doubts, it's lifted 2 inchs, what are your thoughts on shock mount droppers? Or do I just go for different shocks?

I did look at the gwyn Lewis ones but was looking at the cheaper options as well, did you have any issues with the lowed turrets on the front?
Don't think the lowered bump stops will be such a problem for me as my tyres do rub on the inside of the arch on the rear on full articulation, I'm guessing it's the a frame that holds you up at this point then? Think I will av a look for some different shocks at Peterborough

There isnt any need to go and spend loads of money to get masses of articulation. The real question is, do you really need extra articulation? You will find with the tyre size that you are running that if you get more articulation, more and more components come under huge amounts of stress, such as trailing arms and radius arms, the propshafts will get close to the edges of their working limits and you will find the tyres connect with the bodywork! All situations that you want to avoid.
I will try and explain everything i know about it and send it in a PM to you as it will be type specific to a discovery running 235/85 R16 tyres.
